The devices use air compression through sleeves that are secured around the legs. This helps to increase blood flow through the veins of your legs and helps with DVT Prevention.
DVT is a serious medical condition that can cause swelling, pain, and tenderness in your leg. Pneumatic Compression Therapy is used to prevent a deep clot in a leg vein forming and then breaking free and stick in a vessel in the lung also known as a pulmonary embolism (PE).
